Detailed criteria for GPSC Examination is given below , a student need to fulfill all these criteria for being eligible for GPSC Examination .

Eligibility for GPSC examination

Candidate need to have completed graduation degree from recognized university or college.
A citizen of India , subject of Nepal and bhutan can apply for same .
Candidate age should be between 21 years to 28 years for being eligible .

Relaxation in age is provided by the governemnt for Categories of Candidates that belongs to SC/ST or OBC as follows :

• SC /ST  - 5 years
• Reserved category women - 10 years
• General Women - 5 years

Exam consist of two parts with objective type question
Part-I General Studies with 150 marks
Part-II  Selected subject 200 marks

Main Examination

Part-I  Gujarati with 200 marks
Part-II English with 200 marks
Part-III General Studies with 200 marks
Part IV & V Two Selected subjects with 200 marks each

Interview with 100 marks
